Volcanic eruptions and earthquakes are the subjects of this 6 x half hour documentary film series. The series deals with the forces, internal and external, which act upon the earth. Volcanic eruptions and earthquakes occur on the contacts between crustal plates, and millions of people are subject to these natural hazards. The series describes the coexistence between man and hazardous nature in various parts of the world and the methods applied to reduce the hazard by forecasting eruptions and earthquakes.
