Hronn Sveinsdottir, a young feisty film maker, surprises both family and friends by entering a Miss Iceland beauty pagent and following it through. Her mother takes on the role of cameraman as she follows her daughter through 3 intensive months of competition.
This docu drama, set in contemporary Reykjavik, Iceland explores the questions all women are all too familiar with. Of image, identity and beauty.
