Our Girls
Our Girls - the Icelandic national women's football team has the chance to make it into the finals of the European Championship for the first time in Iceland's history. To make their dream come true the team has to beat or keep even all their next games against much bigger nations. The film follows a few characters from the team as they move towards their goal. Most of the national team consists of players from the two giants in Reykjavík; Valur and KR who have for the past years been the top contenders in the Icelandic Championships. Will the girls be able to merge as a team after the summers duel. Everything goes as planned until they lose their game against France and have to play two extra games against Ireland in order to make it into the finals.
