The Ice-Sar team

Here we get the chance to see the daily work of the Icelandic Association for Search and Rescue (Ice-Sar). These people volunteer to work in harsh yet dangerous environments. For five years they are followed and documented, as up to 2-3 times a day there is a distress call for help. The work they take on is never the same as they could be climbing a steep mountain one day and the other saving someone in the ocean.
