Sonnet of Delirium
A woman is struggling with a lingering, traumatic memory that has plunged her into a melancholic state. One evening, while performing routine tasks at her apartment, she is confronted with a cockroach that lurks inconspicuously all around her. This real or imaginary being has forced her into a state of momentary madness. But are we ever free of our fears and bitter memories that evoke them?
